Trust & Safety

Arif Promotion is built on transparency. Our marketplace thrives because both creators and businesses can trust the data, the people, and the campaigns on our platform.

1. Creator Trust Standards

We expect all creators to maintain the highest level of integrity:

  • Authentic Statistics: Follower counts, average views, and engagement rates must reflect reality. We actively audit profiles for sudden, unnatural spikes in followers.
  • Genuine Audiences: The use of engagement pods, bots, or purchased followers is strictly forbidden.
  • Real Proof Uploads: When showcasing a successful campaign in your portfolio, the screenshots and analytics uploaded must be unaltered and directly from the native platform (e.g., TikTok Creator Tools, YouTube Studio).

2. Brand Trust Standards

Businesses must foster a professional environment for creators:

  • Legitimate Campaigns: All briefs must clearly outline deliverables, budgets, and expectations. "Bait and switch" tactics are not allowed.
  • Fair Opportunities: Brands must not request free labor or promise "exposure" in lieu of agreed-upon compensation.
  • Respectful Conduct: Brands must communicate professionally and respect the creative boundaries of the creators they hire.

3. Messaging Safety

Our built-in messaging system is monitored for safety. Spamming multiple creators with identical unsolicited offers, using abusive language, or attempting to conduct fraudulent transactions will trigger our automated filters. Users can utilize the Report System inside any chat thread to flag inappropriate messages directly to our moderation team.

4. Verification Standards

To earn a Verified Badge, users must pass our manual review process:

Creator Verification

  • Submission of logged-in screenshots showing access to the social media account (e.g., editing profile view).
  • Reach screenshots and analytics dashboards proving the claimed follower demographics and average views.

Business Verification

  • Submission of official company details and valid contact information.
  • Upload of supporting documents (e.g., business licenses or official brand registration in Ethiopia) to prove the entity is legally recognized.

5. Reporting & Enforcement

When a violation of our Trust & Safety standards occurs, our admin moderation team takes decisive action:

  • Warnings: Issued for minor infractions, such as an incomplete campaign brief or a misunderstanding of platform rules.
  • Temporary Restrictions: Suspensions from applying to campaigns or sending messages, typically used when spam behavior is detected.
  • Permanent Bans: Immediate removal from the platform. Examples include: submitting photoshopped verification screenshots, scamming a creator out of payment, or persistent harassment in the messaging system.
